AI Assistant for Smart Manufacturing SME:s

The project focuses on how artificial intelligence can support manufacturing SMEs in their digital transformation. Particular attention is given to identifying areas where AI can create value in production processes and to improving companies' ability to adopt AI through better structuring and management of production data.

The project will explore companies' needs and challenges, identify relevant AI use cases and examine how generative AI and other AI-based technologies can provide practical support. The aim is to develop knowledge, guidance and a concept for an AI assistant that can help manufacturing companies understand the opportunities offered by AI, prepare their data and take the next steps in their digital transformation.

The project is carried out in cooperation between Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences in Finland and Mid Sweden University in Sweden within the Interreg Aurora programme.
