HERITOUR
HERITOUR is a doctoral training program that address challenges in the heritage and tourism sectors: hybridisation, resilience, sustainability, and democratisation. HERITOUR aims to foster a new generation of interdisciplinary researchers equipped to work for Europe’s heritage and tourism sectors.
HERITOUR is coordinated by Erasmus University Rotterdam and has 6 partners and 10 associate partners from academia, business, NGOs' and other public organisations in Europe plus Aruba. The Swedish associate partners are Destination Kalmar AB (Kalmar Castle) and Stiftelsen Gaaltije.
HERITOUR project includes 10 PhD candidates and will organize 4 training schools and secondments for PhD candidates as well as a range of dissemination and policy events during the project period.

Two PhD students to ETOUR in the HERITOUR project
In January, there was a kick-off for the HERITOUR project in Rotterdam, an international initiative to educate next generation doctoral students with unique expertise in culture, cultural heritage and tourism. Two doctoral students will be part of ETOUR in the program that combines research, practice and global knowledge exchange.
