Precision Medicine in Internet‑Delivered CBT
This project advances precision medicine in internet-based CBT by integrating process-based therapy with machine learning to individualize psychological treatments and improve clinical outcomes.
The Precision Medicine in Internet-Delivered CBT project aims to develop next-generation psychological interventions by tailoring treatment based on each client’s unique process dynamics.
Grounded in process-based therapy (PBT), the project moves beyond diagnosis categories to focus on the underlying psychological mechanisms that drive change. Machine learning and network analysis will be used to model how these processes evolve during therapy, enabling adaptive treatment recommendations in digital CBT platforms.
The project is part of the Strategic Mobility 2024 program funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF), strengthening collaboration between academia and clinical practice.
