Sundsvall CCI ‑ Place development through the cultural and creative industries

Sundsvall CCI is a project aiming towards producing knowledge around the value of the the cultural and creative industries for place development, particularly in peripheral European regions and in the meeting between city and countryside.

The objective of this project is to provide an overview of possible development possiblities and obstacles of the CCI-sector, and also which support systems and policies that could benefit the sectors development.

The project focus is on the sectors development in European regions with challenges similar to Northern Sweden and will cooperate with other cities and universities around the topic. More specifically, the city of Sundsvall is focused in the project and the objective is to provide traditional academic results together with practical and applied ways forward for this sector in similar contexts.
