Carbon capture and mineralisation

We are developing an innovative Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) approach that transforms CO₂ into solid, stable carbonates.

By combining cellulose with a metal-rich alkaline solution, we create optimal conditions for CO₂ to react through mineral carbonation. This process produces a hybrid organic-inorganic material that locks away CO₂ while creating strong, durable materials with potential applications in construction, biomedical applications and beyond.
