International School on Singularity Theory at Mid Sweden University
You are warmly invited to join the School on Singularity Theory in Sundsvall, which will take place as a satellite event to the 19th International Workshop on Real and Complex Singularities in São Carlos, Brazil, in July 2026.
Both the School and the main workshop are dedicated to celebrating the memory and legacy of Professor Maria Aparecida Soares Ruas (Cidinha), whose scientific achievements and personal commitment to the singularity theory community have left a lasting impact on generations of researchers.
The School is aimed at young students and early-career researchers interested in singularity theory, offering them the chance to engage with more experienced scholars. It also welcomes senior researchers who wish to broaden their knowledge and explore new directions within the field.
The program will include introductory and advanced mini-courses, taught by international experts.
