This year's Dyslexia Week is here, and the theme is 'The Right to Develop Throughout Life.' The right to learn and grow applies to everyone – including individuals who have difficulties with reading, writing, or arithmetic.

Dyslexia Week is here to remind politicians and decision-makers of those who require more support, time, and alternative paths for their education and development. Hopes are for investments to be made in areas such as primary school, secondary school, and higher education. It is also crucial to invest in libraries, as they play a pivotal role in facilitating opportunities for our target audience to develop and find pathways forward.

At Mid Sweden University's library, we offer a comprehensive range of support services, including mathematics and statistics assistance, talking books, writing tutoring and study techniques. Our services include both drop-in options and bookable sessions. All support services (except talking books) are available to all students, not just those with dyslexia.
