Financial support for Open Access publishing – updates 2023
Publish Open Access with funding through national library agreements with various publishers.
The University Library has launched a search tool that enables you to find journals that offer cost-free open access publishing due to our transformative agreements with various publishers. All journals covered by our agreements are included in the tool, which contains around 12,000 journals.

Researchers affiliated with Mid Sweden University can publish open access free of charge in journals from various publishers. This is made possible through national library agreements, meaning that the library will cover the APC costs (APC = article processing charge).
