Mid Sweden University is a public authority and we are therefore governed by law so that the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency is our only insurance company of choice.
Non-life insurance
The Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency provides vehicle and business-related insurance for government agencies; property insurance, consequential damage insurance and liability insurance. The business-related insurance is administered by INFRA.

Group life insurance
Anyone who is employed for at least 8 hours a week is automatically covered by a group life insurance policy, which is paid by the state.
Job security insurance
Employees are covered by security insurance through AFA.
Student insurance
Students at a Swedish university or college are insured during school hours and during the journey to and from school.
