Electrical Engineering BA (C), Embedded System Prototyping, 6 Credits
The course aims to provide a good understanding of the design, manufacture and assembly of printed circuit boards and in-depth knowledge of the importance of grounding and wiring. The course also provides in-depth knowledge of tolerances, frequency and temperature dependencies of passive and active components, and its effect of a circuit. The course also considers power supply of an embedded system as well as electromagnetic compatibility and methods to minimize it. In the course, students will design, manufacture and characterize a circuit board for any given application.
Entry requirements
At least 30 credits in Electronics including analog and digital electronics.
