Sociology MA, Sustainable Working Life and Welfare Systems, 7.5 Credits
The course examines historical and contemporary developments in working life and the labour market, with a focus on sustainability. Students explore welfare systems, labour market changes, and access to jobs, considering both structural and individual perspectives, including context and social position.
The structure of the teaching
The campus course includes several meetings where you are expected to participate on site, and some components require mandatory attendance.
The distance course requires that you have access to a computer with an internet connection. All communication takes place via the course’s online platform and meeting tools such as Zoom.
Entry requirements
A bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits in social or behavioural sciences, of which a minimum of 60 credits in sociology. English level 2/English course 6 from Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium) or the equivalent.
