Content
The course considers environmental science from a broad perspective, emphasizing how technical systems can be changed in order to reduce the flows of energy and materials, and thereby the environmental impact and use of natural resources. Different tools are analyzed and critically discussed. The course includes individual work assignments in environmental systems analysis.

Teaching form
The teaching is given as lectures, seminars and various excercises. Computer applications may be included. Attendance may be compulsory for some of the teaching.
