David Krapohl

David has a PhD degree in electronics from Mid Sweden University with a focus on the simulation of hybride pixel detectors and neutron detectors. Now he is working with pixelated solid state neutron detectors based on a neutron converter on top of Timepix detectors.

David Krapohl has an engineering degree in mechatronics from Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Aachen, Germany. Half a year was a student exchange at Mälardalen University, Sweden.

Before coming to Sweden he worked as a research engineer at the University of Lübeck in the field of neuroscience (FEM simulation) and as a student assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology.
