I am a Senior Lecturer (Universitetslektor) in the Software Engineering and Education group at Mid Sweden University. My research focuses on Responsible AI Engineering and the role of software engineering in creating societal value.

My research investigates how the integration of AI into software engineering reshapes professional practice, decision structures, education, and knowledge production in the discipline.
Two principles guide my work: research should be structurally connected to industry practice, and digital systems should create value for society.
I study:
- How AI changes roles, responsibilities, and decision making in development teams
- How students and professionals learn to work responsibly with AI tools
- Testing and quality assurance in AI based systems
- Methodological development in Software Engineering, including case study research and rapid reviews
My research combines empirical studies, design science approaches, and collaboration with industry partners.
Teaching and tutoring
I teach in the Software Engineering program, including Software Testing, Research Methods, and Thesis supervision. I also supervise student projects that connect AI, industry needs, and responsible engineering practices.
