Area of interest

Jörgen's work builds on relational sociology, organisation theory and social network analysis, together with theories of disaster, resilience, vulnerability and capacity. He applies these perspectives to how public policy is made and changes in disaster and crisis governance, and to how scientific knowledge finds its way into that work. His objects of study mainly include policy entrepreneurs, collaboration between organisations, national and municipal responses to crises, and societal preparedness.
