Background
I have a long background with experience from several prominent organisations in both the public sector and higher education. During my career, I have worked primarily at Mid Sweden University but also at Region Västernorrland, the Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institutet and Research Institutes of Sweden. These assignments have given me in-depth knowledge of education, research, development and interdisciplinary collaborations, project management and complex environments.
In parallel, I have run my own business where I have collaborated with organizers such as the Swedish Institute, Konstfack – University of Gävle, the Design School at Umeå University and the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association. Through these collaborations, I have gained valuable experience in both national and international projects and working with issues related to education, research and innovation.
I have a bachelor's degree in industrial product design from Istanbul Technical University and a master's degree in Design for All from Mid Sweden University. I am currently doing my PhD at Design Sciences at Lund University in collaboration with Mid Sweden University.

Research
My doctoral project is a collaboration between Lund University, Mid Sweden University and the Sundsvall's hospital, Region Västernorrland. I will be doing field studies in the form of co-creative design processes with patients that are intended to be carried out to support equity and self-care of women with pelvic floor injuries.
Teaching and tutoring
Teaches courses in industrial design, graphic design and technical design in the following areas:
Design methodology, creativity and problem solving, project management, illustration, scientific method, universal design, design of easy-to-handle packaging, computer-aided industrial design.
Other information
I contributed as a designer in the Power Up project there we developed an app against domination techniques in collaboration with the Forum for Gender Studies, the Forum for Digitization and the Department of Design.
