Extra pay for specific assignments
The regulations governing salary supplements describe how Mid Sweden University addresses salary supplements for certain times of day, for specific assignments or for areas of responsibility that lie outside of the employee's regular duties.
The regulations do not control supplements given for managerial roles.
Within the scope of an employee's work commitments, their duties and areas of responsibility vary in complexity as well as responsibility over time. An employee is obligated to perform all work that is included in the employment contract, falls within the scope of the collective agreement, is naturally related to the employee's main activities and is within the employee's general qualifications. In some cases, however, an employee may receive a supplement to their salary for working at certain times, on specific assignments, or for areas of responsibility that lie outside of their regular duties. In order to manage these salary supplements correctly, these rules have been produced.
