The student unions highlight teachers who inspire and engage
Every year, Mid Sweden University's student unions recognize teachers who have made a special difference to students' learning. This year, the pedagogical awards go to Lisa Lindström in Östersund and Ida Svanedal in Sundsvall. The prizes are awarded during Mid Sweden University's celebration week.
The Pedagogical Prize is awarded every year by Mid Sweden University's United Student Unions (MFS), with one award winner on each campus. The award is the students' way of drawing attention to teachers who engage, inspire and contribute to a learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop.
In addition to the honor, the prize winners receive a prize sum of SEK 10,000 that can be used for skills development.
This year, Lisa Lindström, doctoral student and lecturer in psychology at the Östersund campus, and Ida Svanedal, senior lecturer in chemistry and researcher at the FSCN Research Centre at the Sundsvall campus, are being recognized.
