Economic violence highlighted during Almedalen

Lars Evertsson, PSO, researches economic violence in close relationships, specifically men's economic violence against women. Violence against women in close relationships is about the man using physical, psychological, sexual or economic violence to try to control the woman and control her life.
The seminar in Almedalen was arranged by GAPF, a non-profit association that works against honour-related violence and oppression. GAPF stands for Never Forget Pela and Fadime. Paulina Brandberg, Minister for Gender Equality and Deputy Minister for Employment, also participated in the seminar.
