Welcome Days for new students

Tue 20 Jun 2023 10:06

During the semester start week we will arrange welcome days for our new students in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and partners. The date for Östersund is 30 August and for Sundsvall 1 September. It is drop-in between 11–14 and the students are offered a simpler lunch.

The purpose of the day is for the students to get off to the best possible start, both in terms of studies and leisure time. They will have the opportunity to meet our student support such as the library, student health, the International Relations Office and the student unions and more. Representatives from the local business community, municipalities and associations must also be present with both activities and information.

At every full hour, at 11, 12 and 13, a panel consisting of the rector, vice-rector, companies and the student union, will welcome all students.

Are you a teacher? Feel free to puff a little extra for the day so we get as many people as possible on site!

More about the day will be on this page. It will be updated as actors are added.
