For some time, the University Library has shown the Gaaltije Foundation's exhibition "What Must Be Removed – Xenophobia, Racism or Colonialism?" In connection with this, educational support is offered on how to raise issues of xenophobia, racism and colonialism in courses.

The exhibition is now in place on campus Östersund. In collaboration with the Equal Opportunities Group and the Student Health Service, Båskoes (Mid Sweden University's network for research about and with the Sámi community) offers educational support on how to raise these issues in courses held at Mid Sweden University.

By linking the exhibition to teaching, the students' knowledge of the fact that Mid Sweden University is located in the middle of the South Sámi area in Saepmie also increases, which is in line with the letter of intent that Mid Sweden University wrote in 2022:

"The Government's goal is to strengthen the rights and mandate of the Sámi population. It is Mid Sweden University's intention to develop research and education for Sámi issues at Mid Sweden University and thus also strengthen the university's role as a university in the middle of the Sámi area and at the same time contribute to strengthening the position of the South Sámi community both in Sweden and in Saepmie."
