Inventory of equipment and inventory

The Division of Infrastructure will carry out a comprehensive inventory of all equipment and inventory at Mid Sweden University from March 1 to the end of June.

Schema

During this period, you will go around all the premises and read barcodes and check that the information corresponds to what is registered. When a room or office has been inventoried, a green label will be put up on the room sign outside the room. If you see that your room sign has been given such a label but your computer or other equipment was in another place at the time of the inventory, please go to the Service Portal and place a ticket as below. The exception in the inventory is labs and the like.

If you have inventory in a place other than on one of Mid Sweden University's campuses, we ask that you log in to the Service Portal and submit a case – Skapa ärende/Teknik & Konto/Rapportera inventarier. Report what assets you have – enter your barcode, asset type, model, serial number and location.

Please check that the room sign outside your office has the correct room number and name.

We ask you to cooperate with us at the Division of Infrastructure, as the inventory period may involve short-term disruptions. If you have any questions or need further information, you are welcome to contact the IT support.
