Election of members for the NMT Faculty Board

To members of the Electoral Assembly for election of members for the NMT Faculty Board (se below for those
included in the Electoral Assembly), others for information.

Save the date, Friday 22 March at 15:10, for the constitutive meeting of the Electoral Assembly for the election of members for the Faculty Board for the period 2024-01-07 – 2027-06-30. At the meeting, an Election Committee will be appointed. It is a physical meeting that will take place on campus Sundsvall and Östersund. This save the date is sent out now to make sure as many as possible will be able to attend.

Invitation to the meeting with more information about the schedule and implementation of the election of members will be send out later this month.

Background

This spring, an election will be held to select members for the Faculty Board for the period 2021-07-01 – 2024-06-30. The election will be conducted in accordance with the regulations established by the vice-chancellor (an English translation is being prepared).

Entitled to vote are all employees at the Faculty who are employed for at least 2 years on a permanent or temporary basis, and is at least 40% of full-time active within the faculty’s area of responsibility, as of 1 January, 2024. PhD 2 students with doctoral studentships and faculty office staff are not entitled to vote. All entitled to vote constitute the Electoral Assembly.

Eligible are persons entitled to vote who are professors, or whose position requires a doctoral degree or equivalent scientific or artistic qualification.
