Reminder and detailed information for the Invitation to constitutive meeting of the Electoral Assembly for the election of members for the Faculty Board for the period 2024-01-07 – 2027-06-30.

At the meeting, an Election Committee will be appointed. It is a physical meeting that will take place on campus Sundsvall and Östersund.

Schedule för election of Faculty Board

  • 22 March, at 15:10 Constitutive meeting, election of the Election Committee, in Sundsvall room N102, in Östersund room Q221.
  • 8 May, at 16:00 The Election Committee presents their proposals for candidates to the Faculty Board, after which the Election Assembly has seven working days to submit further proposals. The meeting will be in Zoom or Teams. 
  • 20 May, at 12:00 Final day to submit additional proposals for candidates other than the Election Committee's proposals. Nominated persons must have been asked and agreed on nomination. Additional proposals are sent by email to the Faculty Office, maria.torstensson@miun.se
  • 21 May Summary of the proposals for candidates that the Election Committee has submitted + other proposals received will be sen to the Election Assembly by email.
  • 27 May Election of Faculty Board opens (5 working days). The election is carried out in Netigate.
  • 31 May Final day to vote

 

Earlier Information

This spring, an election will be held to select members for the Faculty Board for the period 2024-01-07 – 2027-06-30. The election will be conducted in accordance with the regulations established by the vice-chancellor (an English translation is being prepared).

Entitled to vote are all employees at the Faculty who are employed for at least 2 years on a permanent or temporary basis, and is at least 40% of full-time active within the faculty’s area of responsibility, as of 1 January, 2024. PhD students with doctoral studentships and faculty office staff are not entitled to vote. All entitled to vote constitute the Electoral Assembly.

Eligible are persons entitled to vote who have a permanent contract and who are professors, or whose position requires a doctoral degree or equivalent scientific or artistic qualification.
