For two days on 13–14 March, doctoral students, companies, municipalities, regions, and higher education institutions met to share knowledge, experiences, and inspiration within the national research school in health innovation.

The program for the two days was packed with guest lectures, a doctoral course with article seminars, workshops and study visits. Anders Edholm offered a topical and appreciated guest lecture entitled "Who owns the research? From research to product".

"The doctoral students are enrolled in different subjects and have different approaches, but they still have a lot in common. Some doctoral students have decided to do joint studies within the research school, which shows the advantage of this interdisciplinary network, says Ingela Bäckström, doctoral student coordinator in the research school and professor of quality technology and management at Mid Sweden University.

Östersund offered brilliant weather and the study visits to the Sámi museum Gaaltje and Storsjöhyttan were a welcome break in the program.

"The doctoral students really appreciated the network meeting, they are very pleased with the research school," says Ingela Bäckström.

This was the second physical network meeting for the research school, the first was the start-up meeting held in January 2023 at Halmstad University, which is also the project owner.
