Data protection issues
For data protection issues, please contact Mid Sweden University's Data Protection Officer. You can reach the Data Protection Officer at the e-mail address dataskyddsombud@miun.se
Examples of the Data Protection Officer's duties related to the GDPR:
- Questions and requests for register extracts from data subjects.
- Issues relating to the DPO's responsibilities, such as monitoring of the Regulation, compliance and, for example, how cooperation with the supervisory authority works.
- Advice on the implementation of specific impact assessments.
- Questions regarding registration of personal data processing, etc.
Archival issues
For questions regarding the handling of public documents and archiving, please contact archivist Cecilia Johnsson.
Examples of the archive function's responsibilities regarding the General Data Protection Regulation:
- Make sure that the university has up-to-date deletion decisions so that we can delete (throw away/destroy) the documents/personal data that are not to be stored.
- Inform about which documents are to be preserved and which are to be deleted. This is done via the archive and diary page on the web , where you can find information management plans and current deletion decisions.
- Answer questions and give advice related to the preservation and disposal of the University's documents
