The beginner’s course
This course is intended to support you in your language development. The first meeting is on January 17, 2025.
The goal is to be able to participate in everyday conversations and to be able to assimilate information in society and at Mid Sweden University.
The course is conducted with two campus meetings a week, two hours each, and takes place during the term time (Mondays at 10.15-12.00 o´clock and Fridays at 10.15-12.00 o´clock). The course starts in week 4 in Sundsvall.
Learning outcomes
Through this course, participants learn:
- Pronunciation of individual sounds and language melody in the Swedish language
- Basic Swedish grammar
- To read short Swedish texts
- Develop and master an active vocabulary
- Understanding of Swedish culture and society
