Doctoral courses

Doctoral courses are managed by the course coordinators within each doctoral subject area. Course syllabi can be found here. Select a subject or doctoral level to view our course offerings.

The Faculty of Science, Technology and Media currently has two faculty-wide courses that are given regularly. 

• Scientific writing and presentation (syllabus) is given every year during the spring semester. Kristen Snyder and Mårten Sjöström are course coordinators.
• Scientific philosophy, ethics and research methods (syllabus) is given every year during the autumn semester. Kristen Snyder is the course coordinator.

These courses are compulsory for most of the faculty's doctoral students. Compulsory courses are stated in the general syllabus of the third-cycle subject.
