Volunteer at FISU World Forum
For the FISU World Forum in Östersund, August 2026, we are looking for volunteers. During the period 22–29 August, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an international forum where student sports, leadership and health are in focus, while developing your own skills.
Would you like to meet people from all over the world and help create an international forum? As a volunteer at the FISU World Forum, you will have a unique opportunity to combine hands-on work, networking, and creating meaningful experiences.
You will work in a committed team with a variety of tasks. During your shifts, the university will provide meals, but you will need to arrange your own accommodation in Östersund for the week. After completing your assignment, you will receive a personal certificate outlining your responsibilities and the skills you have developed.
Areas of work
As a volunteer, you will be involved in several different areas throughout the week:
Participant service
Information points, accreditation, transport, meals, and accommodation.
Sports
Morning activities at Östersund Camping, a rounders tournament at Studentplan, and biathlon at the ski stadium.
Culture and events
A fair for participating countries at Folkets Hus, opening and closing ceremonies, and a cultural evening.
Conference
Room hosting and supporting lectures and seminars.
Regardless of the area, support is always available, and you will receive guidance both before and during the week.
