Conference venue: Mid Sweden University Campus
Campus Östersund, inaugurated in 2002, is situated a few minutes walk from the main shopping street in the centre of Östersund city. The new city district with the university, which formerly was a regiment, has been carefully renovated, built out, and transformed into a welcoming campus. The area harbours a modern library, lecture halls, student restaurants and a café.
All three days we will be on our Campus in Östersund. We will primarily gather in the buildings G, F and O marked out in the map below. The G building is the main building, easy to find through its glass facade that differs from the surrounding historic yellow buildings. Directly at the main entrance you will find the reception desk.
Reception desk
The reception desk will open Tuesday at 09.30. Upon registration, you will receive your name tag and a bag with further useful information for the duration of the Symposium – Among others, a map so you can find the relevant rooms for the sessions you want to attend. There will be someone at the reception desk all three days. Here you are always welcome with any questions you might have. Beyond that, we will have volunteers in orange t-shirts in all buildings – they are also more than happy to assist you with finding your way and answering questions.
