Bakgrund
I was born in a small town in the south of Brazil. After 24 years I moved to Mexico to do my PhD. Then I returned to Brazil, where I worked as an assistant professor for 10 years. In 2022 I moved to Sweden to work as a lecturer at Mid Sweden University.
Forskningsområden
Singularity Theory, Complex Geometry, Real Analytic Geometry.
Forskning
My research focuses on the area of Singularity Theory. I am interested in the study of the geometry and topology of singular spaces, such as complex analytic spaces and real subanalytic sets. I look for invariants and handleable structures that help us understand and classify such objects. One approach is to look at non-singular spaces that degenerate into the singular one. Another approach is to study how these singular spaces behave under small perturbations, in some topological sense.
Undervisning
I graduated in Production Engineering at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), where I also got my Master's degree in Mathematics. In 2012 I got my PhD degree in Mathematics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Övrigt
Minha língua nativa é o português, mas também falo espanhol, inglês e um pouco de sueco.
