I am the European Editor of *Resilience: A Journal of the Environmental Humanities*, for which I commission a series called COMpostINGs. I am a member of the Postgraduate Forum Environment, Literature, Culture (ELC); the Research Network Literary and Cultural Animal Studies (CLAS); and the European Association for the Study of Literature, Culture, and the Environment (EASLCE).
