Agreement on cooperation between the County Administrative Board of Jämtland County and the Risk and Crisis Research Center, Mid Sweden University

The project aimed to find synergy effects and points of contact between three involved county administrative boards regarding the management of the Swedish forest fires 2018, and to evaluate the crisis management system.

The purpose of the study was to evaluate information and communication initiatives aimed at households and the public during the fires in the summer of 2018. The study examined media flow and documentation regarding communication and information to the public. The study was conducted through interviews with individuals in key position, and group interviews with residents in the fire-affected areas.
