What About Teachers´ Shortage
Many countries in Europe suffer from the same problem when it comes to lack of qualified teachers. To handle the situation, a new network is now being created, funded by the Swedish Research Council, where researchers collaborate to analyze and find ways to tackle the problem.
The WATS up (What About Teachers´ Shortage) network is a research project in collaboration between researchers in Sweden, Denmark and Germany. The aim is to explore and explain the problems surrounding the acute shortage of teachers many countries face. As the shortage of teachers is a problem in many countries, the network is necessary to share and transfer the knowledge and insights that research leads to.
