DigiNära – The registered Nurse; the Professional role and Safe Nursing Care

We want to try to understand how registred nurses in municipal health care perceive their new role and profession in relation to digitalization and to the use of welfare technology in daily nursing and nursing work

In simularity with almost all Swedish municipalitiese municipality, Sollefteå has begun the process of implementing the Care toward a sustainable structure and with good continuity and relations between the care provider and the patient/user. Most care will be provided to care recipients in a home environment.

The use of technology and digitalisation will play a key role in its successful implementation. Registered nurses in municipal health care is a professional group that plays and will play an essential role in the implementation of the reform.
