Background
I did my doctorate in 2013 with the thesis "Creating a Quality Management Culture : Focusing on Values and Leadership" and became associate professor in 2018.
Before I started at Mid Sweden University in 2204 I worked in the manufacturing industry with human resources, organizational development, quality and Lean.
I´ve also held a number of leadership positions in both the private sector and in academia.
Area of interest
My research focuses on how organizations (i.e. leaders and employees) can work to create, measure and understand a culture that provides opportunities for long-term and sustainable quality development.
Research
I am currently participating in two collaborative projects and one project funded by Kamprad's research foundation.
The one collaborative project is an 18-month long project together with the municipality of Sundsvall. The project aims to develop and improve team-based working methods and methods to create functional teams. The project uses an interactive research design where, together with the management team and a number of pilots, we co-create activities that will take us towards the goal.
The second collaborative project is also conducted in collaboration with Sundsvall municipality. The project aims to identify, describe, test and evaluate how municipal healthcare can become an attractive and learning workplace and is based on the so-called Magnet model. The same model is the starting point for the project that is financed by Kamprad's foundation, which aims to use the magnet model as a starting point to develop methods and working methods to increase the leaders' abilities to create a sustainable quality culture within special housing.
