Welcome to a new and active semester with Canvas
Do you need support or want to learn more about Canvas? The Canvas guides are updated and you can also register for workshops that are given during the autumn semester. There is also an active integration with the new course evaluation system.
Need support?
During weeks 34 and 35, our open support sessions for Canvas ("Canvas-stugan") are open every day. Read more about the open sessions or email questions to PUkontakt@miun.se. For the remainder of the autumn semester 2026 (HT26), we will hold open sessions three times a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—as before.
Improved guides
We have updated both the teacher and student guides for Canvas. You can find both via the question mark icon in the bottom-left hand corner of Canvas. The teacher guide is now named Canvas guides – Resource page for Teachers and includes a brand-new quick-start guide for those new to Canvas. Both the teacher and student guides are available in Swedish and English.

News in Canvas
New course evaluation system
You may have already noticed that we have a new course evaluation system, Miun Survey, which both you and the students can access directly within Canvas. Read more in the guides for Miun Survey.
New student feature for note taking on pages
There is a new feature allowing students to make private notes on pages in Canvas. Read more in the Canvas student guide via the question mark icon in the bottom-left corner of Canvas.
