Call for applications at the NMT Faculty
Funding for teachers' research qualifications and strategic recruitment with a focus on research can be applied for at the NMT Faculty during the period 2024-02-01 to 2024-04-20.
There are now two calls for proposals where teachers and researchers at the NMT Faculty can apply for funding.
Call for funding for teachers' research qualifications
Applications can be made by teachers who have a permanent position at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Media.
By allocating funds for teachers' research qualifications, there is room for, for example, research or collaborations and a stay at another higher education institution in Sweden or abroad, as a step towards further promotion.

Call for proposals for strategic recruitment with a focus on research
The application must be submitted by the head of the department belonging to the Faculty of Science, Technology and Media.
The funds will mainly be used for salaries for recruitment. However, it is possible to use smaller sums for other purposes that are directly linked to the recruitment in question, provided that it is clearly formulated and stated in the application and budget.

The purpose of the calls is to work for the faculty's and Mid Sweden University's strategy and goals, such as increasing the opportunity for continued development of complete environments in balance between research and education, strengthening and profiling existing environments, increasing gender equality and diversity and/or strengthening existing ones and developing new international exchanges and collaborations.
