To be admitted to third-cycle studies, funding is required until graduation. Most of the faculty’s doctoral students are employed as doctoral students at Mid Sweden University, but doctoral students also work for other employers.

Doctoral students with another employer
Some third-level students have employment with an employer other than Mid Sweden University and undertake third-cycle studies under their employment there. When the employer is external, an agreement must always be drawn up with the employer at the time of admission, laying down the parties’ rights and obligations.
