The Art Hub's activities at Mid Sweden University are a project and a meeting place where artistic practice, research and education come together to explore new ways of thinking, creating and understanding the world.
Here, artistic processes are allowed to take place as a form of knowledge in their own right – not on the sidelines, but in dialogue with academia and society. The purpose of the art hub is to create space for experiments, investigative working methods and interdisciplinary collaborations where artists, researchers, students and external actors can meet on equal terms.
Through collaborations and open processes, the Arts Hub wants to act as a catalyst for creativity and artistic and intellectual development. Openings, art talks, lectures and workshops are examples of things that fit on the agenda.
The Art Hub is thus a place where uncertainty, curiosity and exploration are seen as driving forces. This is where new stories, new collaborations and new ways of understanding both society and the times we live in arise.

Det blir fler utställningar. Efter den uppskattade utställningen i Ismagasinet under Mittuniversitetets jubileumsvecka 2025 bjuder Konsthubben återigen in till en gemensam salong i Sundsvall. Senare följer även en vårsalong i Östersund 2027.

När Mittuniversitetet firar jubileum får också konsten ta plats – som uttryck, mötesplats och inspirationskälla. I slutet av oktober genomfördes en rad aktiviteter – workshops, föreläsningar och en stor utställning i Ismagasinet i Sundsvall.

Förra veckan fylldes Ismagasinet på campus Sundsvall av kreativ energi och nyfikenhet när Konsthubben slog upp portarna. Vernissagen blev en succé, med omkring 200 besökare och kö vid dörren.

Under jubileumsveckan i Sundsvall får konsten en framträdande plats på Mittuniversitetet. Fredagen den 24 oktober bjuds allmänheten och medlemmar i CER-nätverket in till en dag fylld av konst, forskning och inspiration i Ismagasinet.
