Health, Learning and Safety (HLT)
Health, Learning and Safety (HLT) is a collaborative model with the aim of offering early and coordinated support to children (0–16 years) and families, so that the need for more extensive interventions later decreases. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the implementation of HLT in Sollefteå.
HLT is part of the first line of mental health, and the aim of the study is to optimise the collaboration between key actors (HLT teams) and project management for a successful implementation of the HLT model in Sollefteå. The aim is also to generate scientific evidence that accounts for obstacles and opportunities in the work of implementing collaborative projects in a rural context. Preschool/school, primary care and social services are represented in the teams.
The work is carried out by 2-3 students and involves holding focus group interviews with the HLT teams and management and leadership on repeated occasions, to investigate how the implementation of the model is progressing and how the working method is experienced by the teams. The results are analysed qualitatively and returned to the HLT project manager after each data collection to optimise the implementation of the HLT model. A questionnaire is also distributed to the participants at each data collection occasion. The interview guide and questionnaire are based on implementation theory.
