ChallangeEU ‑ Online Cafe ‑ Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education
We are pleased to invite you to our next ChallengeEU Online Café dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in higher education.
This session will bring together four speakers from four universities of ChallengeEU who will share short insights on AI initiatives developed at their university:
- SEEU
- UEL
- ECAM LaSalle
- LBTU
The conversation will be broadly structured around three overarching questions:
- How are institutions framing and supervising students’ use of AI? (usage guidelines, monitoring of tools and contexts of use, and early findings on how students engage with AI in practice).
- In what ways can AI enrich teaching and course activities?
- What governance, support mechanisms, and ethical frameworks are needed to ensure responsible and meaningful integration of AI into academic life?
Our aim is to create a collegial space for open discussion, where professors can meet peers facing similar questions, share experiences, and gather ideas for their own pedagogical practice.
After the speakers’ presentations, participants will join breakout rooms to exchange perspectives, compare practices, and reflect together on common challenges and opportunities.
