The course starts with the Grammar module so please secure the required reading for the Grammar module before the course starts (see below). The course platform that you will work in is called Canvas and you will gain access to the platform a few days before the course is due to start.

Please note that the schedule is updated until the start of the course and there may be changes thereafter if something unforeseen occurs.

Education information

Apart from the Grammar exam (see below) there are no scheduled meetings or seminars and all studies take place in Canvas. There are regular deadlines which have to be met. All information is available in Moodle. 

You should have the following book for the Grammar module at the start of term: 

Estling Vannestål, Maria, University Grammar of English with a Swedish Perspective, 
      Studentlitteratur, 2015.


Important Information:
There is a grammar exam which takes place at a scheduled time. The exam is taken via Inspera on campus (Sundsvall or Östersund) or or at a learning center by the student’s own arrangement on the exam day. Please note that the exam can only be taken at the scheduled time (Swedish time). 

Information about the exam can be found in the course platform, and the exam dates (exam and resit) can be found in the schedule (www.miun.se) – search by using the course code EN001G.

You can also find the course literature that is needed for the other modules in the COURSE PLAN. Search for your course plan at https://www.miun.se/utbildning/kursplaner-och-utbildningsplaner using the course code: EN001G. Make sure you have the necessary literature for the start of each module:
