Utbildningsinformation

The aim of this course is to give the student a deeper understanding of properties of AM materials, also in a comparison with conventional analogs. WIthin the course you will learn the main principles and mechanism of formation of microstructure, and defects, as well as how they affect mechanical properties in the AM methods accounted for in the course. Also, the main differences with conventional manufacturing methods. You will even learn about post-processing for metal AM.
