Utbildningsinformation

This course explores the intersection of economics, environmental sustainability, and policy-making. Through an interdisciplinary approach, students will analyze the economic principles that shape environmental policies and decision-making processes. The course delves into key concepts such as property rights, externalities, cost-benefit analysis, and environmental valuation methods.

Students will examine real-world case studies and global examples to evaluate policy instruments for effective environmental management. Topics include climate change policies, energy economics, carbon pricing, water and air quality regulations, transportation management, and environmental justice.

By the end of the course, students will be equipped with analytical tools to assess environmental challenges from an economic perspective, understand the implications of different policy options, and contribute to sustainable policy development in business and industrial settings.
