Hello!
A warm welcome to the course Fotografi GR (A), Ljus och form and as a student at Mid Sweden University.
My name is Kevin Gater, and I’ll be your tutor for this course. It includes lectures, practical assignments, and discussions in English.
We provide photo equipment for borrowing, but if you have your own, a camera with manual settings and RAW is ideal. A tripod, external hard drive, and USB memory stick are also helpful to bring.

Our first meeting is on April 1st at 13:15, Sundsvall campus. You’ll receive a course introduction, a lecture, and your first photo task.
Wrap up warm and bring a camera; if you don’t have one, we’ll provide one. Attendance is mandatory. If you can’t attend the course, please notify us immediately so your place can be offered to someone else.

Education information
This is a campus-based course with meetings held a couple of times a week. As a half-speed course, it requires about 20 hours of study time per week, combining classroom sessions, practical assignments, and independent study.
We’ll use Moodle for assignments, hand-ins, and course announcements. Be sure to register for the course before the start date to access Moodle.
