Bakgrund
Jag disputerade 2009 med doktorsavhandlingen On the Relationship between Sustainable Health and Quality Management - Leadership and organizational behaviours from Swedish organizations. 2014 blev jag docent och 2018 professor.
Innan min akademiska karriär arbetade jag på en revisionsbyrå som revisorsassistent och som ekonom, teamledare och projektledare inom industrin.
Forskningsområden
I min forskning intresserar jag mig för hur ledare och organisationer kan arbeta för att skapa nöjda kunder, välmående medarbetare och lönsamhet d.v.s. vilka arbetssätt, beteenden och metoder som skapar detta. Fokus är på relationen mellan kvalitetsledning och hållbar hälsa. Andra områden som jag forskar på och intresserar mig för är Kvalitetskultur, Lean, processer, Styrkebaserat Ledarskap och Appreciative Inquiry.
Forskning
Från 2018 och tre år framåt är jag projektledare för ett forskningsprojekt finansierat av Familjen Kamprads Stiftelse. Projektet syftar till att att skapa ny kunskap om hur effektivitet och kvalitet i hälso- och sjukvårdens vårdkedja kan förbättras med specifikt fokus på ledarskap, vårdkontinuitet, säkerhetskultur och lärande.
Jag ingår i forskningsprojektet "Communicative Leadership Development" (CLD) som syftar till att undersöka vilka effekter utbildning kommunikativt ledarskap kan ha. Projektet finansieras av KK-stiftelsen och kommer att avslutas under början av 2020.
Under åren 2015- 2018 var jag med i forskningsprojektet "Simply Lean" som finansierades av KK-stiftelsen. Där vi undersökte hur kvaliteten kan förbättras i svenska företag genom att utveckla en intern coachingsmodell för att stödja värderingsbaserat ledarskap. Ett ledarskap som ska integrera värderingar, organisationskultur, kundbehov och en hållbar utveckling. Resultat från projektet finns att läsa i länken till höger.
Ett annat projekt som jag varit med i hade som syfte att mäta och utveckla kvalitetskulturen på organisationsnivå. Det var ett samarbete mellan SIQ (Institutet för kvalitesutveckling) och forskningsnätverket SQMA (Swedish Quality Management Academy) samt sju organisationer från offentlig och privat sektor. Resultat från projektet finns att läsa i slutrapporten som finns på SQMAs hemsida se länk till höger.
Från 2020 kommer jag att vara med i ett samverkansprojekt med Östersunds kommun som har som syfte att utveckla kommunens förskolor. Projektet "Kvalitet i Förskolan" är treårigt och startar under Q2 2019.
Undervisning
Jag undervisar i vårt magisterprogram Kvalitets- och ledarskapsutveckling där jag också handleder examensarbeten.
Övrigt
Sedan halvårsskiftet 2018 är jag prodekan inom fakulteten för naturvetenskap, teknik och medier (NMT). Jag var ordförande i rådet för utbildning på grund- och avancerad nivå (GRUR) inom fakulteten för naturvetenskap, teknik och medier (NMT) mellan åren 2013-2018.
