Soleiman Limaei

Background

Soleiman Mohammadi Limaei is an Associate Professor in Industrial Organization and Economics, and a member of the Centre for Research on Economic Relations (CER) at Mid Sweden University (MIUN). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics (Forest Economics) from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Additionally, Limaei has served as a Professor of Forest Economics at the University of Guilan in Iran. He also serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several journals.

Area of interest

- Economics optimization in forest resource management, including the application of goal programming, dynamic programming, game theory, and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA).

- Economics evaluation of forest and ecosystem services.

- Environmental and natural resources economics.

Teaching and tutoring

I teach a variety of economics courses across levels A to C, including microeconomics at the B level for industrial engineering students. I also offer environmental economics at the D level for master's students in industrial engineering. Additionally, I have taught a PhD-level course in environmental valuation.
