Bakgrund

Jag disputerade 2009 med doktorsavhandlingen On the Relationship between Sustainable Health and Quality Management - Leadership and organizational behaviours from Swedish organizations. 2014 blev jag docent och 2018 professor.

Innan min akademiska karriär arbetade jag på en revisionsbyrå som revisorsassistent och som ekonom, teamledare och projektledare inom industrin.

Forskningsområden

I min forskning intresserar jag mig för hur ledare och organisationer kan arbeta för att skapa nöjda kunder, välmående medarbetare och lönsamhet d.v.s. vilka arbetssätt, beteenden och metoder som skapar detta. Fokus är på relationen mellan kvalitetsledning och hållbar hälsa. Andra områden som jag forskar på och intresserar mig för är Kvalitetskultur, Lean, processer, Styrkebaserat Ledarskap och Appreciative Inquiry.

Pågående forskning

Jag är sedan 2015 med i forskningsprojektet "Simply Lean" ett projekt finansierat av KK-stiftelsen för att undersöka hur kvaliteten kan förbättras i svenska företag genom att utveckla en intern coachingsmodell för att stödja värderingsbaserat ledarskap. Ett ledarskap som ska integrera värderingar, organisationskultur, kundbehov och en hållbar utveckling. Det treåriga projektet är ett forsknings- och utvecklingssamarbete mellan tre svenska tillverkande företag och Mittuniversitetet.

Ett annat projekt som jag är med i har som syfte att mäta och utveckla kvalitetskulturen på organisationsnivå. Det är ett samarbete mellan SIQ (Institutet för kvalitesutveckling) och forskningsnätverket SQMA (Swedish Quality Management Academy) samt sju organisationer från offentlig och privat sektor.

Från 2018 och tre år framåt är jag projektledare för ett forskningsprojekt finansierat av Familjen Kamprads Stiftelse. Projektet syftar till att att skapa ny kunskap om hur effektivitet och kvalitet i hälso- och sjukvårdens vårdkedja kan förbättras med specifikt fokus på ledarskap, vårdkontinuitet, säkerhetskultur och lärande.

Undervisning

Jag undervisar i vårt magisterprogram Kvalitets- och ledarskapsutveckling där jag också handleder examensarbeten.

Övrigt

Jag är ordförande i rådet för utbildning på grund- och avancerad nivå (GRUR) inom fakulteten för naturvetenskap, teknik och medier (NMT) och ett av kontrastparen i Miun 2025.
