Education Ba (B), International and Comparative Education, 7.5 Credits
The course provides knowledge about theories, methods and practice related to international and comparative education. International organisations working with education such as UNESCO, EU, OECD and World Bank will be studied as well as international processes comparing education. Among others, the Lisbon process, PISA and “Education at a Glance” be discussed.
The course is designed for teacher-training students or students of education who intend to study part of their programme abroad. The course can also be of interest for students who live in Sweden, but who have schooling in an international context.
